In this article, we will learn how to edit your company's profile, how to create new users, how to edit the counts already created, how to create new categories, how to create new warehouses and how the notifications and messages boxes work.


SwiftCount Settings



1. Categories - Allows you to add a new category or manage existing categories
2. Warehouses - Allows you to add a new warehouse or manage existing warehouses
3. Unit of Measure - Allows you to add a new UOM or manage existing UOMs
4. SwiftIDs - Allows you to add a new swiftID or manage existing swiftIDs
5. Suppliers - Allows you to add a new supplier or manage existing suppliers
6. Customers - Allows you to add a new customer or manage existing customers
7. Users - Allows you to add a new user or manage existing users
8. Notifications - Shows all SwiftCount notifications
9. Messages - Shows all SwiftCount user messages

Categories Section



To add a new category, click on New Category. Or select the category name you want to manage and click View.

Specify the new category name and click Create and Close or Create and New.

Click Save after making your changes.

Warehouses Section




To add a new warehouse, click on New Warehouse. Or select the warehouse code you want to manage and click View.

Specify the new warehouse code and description. Then click Create.

Units of Measure Section


To add a new UOM, click on New Unit of Measure. Or select the UOM code you want to manage and click View.

Specify the new UOM code, description and default quantity. Click Create.

SwiftIDs Section


To add a new SwiftID, click on New SwiftID. Or click on the SwiftID name to manage it.

Specify the new swiftID name, select your tag color and click Add SwiftID.

Click Change SwiftID after making your changes.

Suppliers Section


To add a new supplier, click on Create New Supplier. Or select the supplier code you want to manage and click View.

To add a new order, click on Create New Order.

Specify the new supplier code, name, email and contact. Click Create and Close or Create and New.

Click Save after making your changes.

Specify the new order number, supplier, order date, required date and warehouse. Click Continue.



Specify the quantity of each part number and click Continue.

Lastly, click Send to send a message to the user, click print ok click OK.


Once the new order has been created, you should see it under the Orders module. Click View to make changes to the order.

Customers Section




To add a new customer, click on New Customer. Or select the customer name you want to manage and click View.

Specify the new customer code, name, email and contact. Click Create and Close or Create and New.

Managing a User



Click on the pencil icon.



From this screen you may also change the user's password. Click Save after making your changes.

Notifications and Messages Section




The notifications box shows you a list of the people who has finished a count, the name of the count, and the date.
If you want to delete a notification from that box, just click on the delete icon.

The messages box shows you all the messages sent to the other users.
If you want to delete a message from that box, just click on the delete icon.
