In this article, you will get an overview of how the SwiftCount Setup Wizard works.


Getting Started



To start using SwiftCount, there are 4 important steps that you need to do:
1) Setup your units of measure (UOM)
2) Upload your products
3) Create your locations and
4) Assign products to locations


Step 1 - Creating Your Units Of Measures



To create your units of measures:
1) Specify a code
2) Specify a description
3) Add default quantity
4) Click Save UOM



All units of measures in your company will be shown on the left side of your screen.

Step 2 - Upload Your Products



There are 4 ways to upload your products:
1) Uploading products via Excel
2) Adding products manually
3) Importing products via Accounting Packages (Integrations such as Spire, Xero, Business Vision, Freshbooks etc.)
4) Creating sample products automatically

Step 3 - Creating Your Locations



In the setup process, everything will be under the one (default) warehouse.



To create your locations:
1) Specify a code
2) Specify a description
3) Default warehouse
4) Click Save and New

All locations in your company will be shown on the left side of your screen.

Step 4 - Assigning Products To Locations


To assign products to your locations:
1) Select the products you want to assign
2) Select the location
3) Click Assign Products

Other important things to do in SwiftCount:
1) Create your first count
2) Create categories and assign products to categories
3) Create and manage SwiftIDs
4) Create users
5) Create warehouses
6) Change your default password
7) Download the SwiftCount mobile app


Kick Start Call


Click on the Kick Start Call button to schedule your appointment or training requests with one of our SwiftCount coaches.



Select your time zone and click Set Time Zone.
